Common questions
Who can use the workspace?
Landlords and their employees sign in with Google. Owners manage staff access, and permissions limit which properties and actions each person can use.
Do tenants need an account?
No. Staff maintain tenant records. Tenants use limited personal links for payment reports, requests, and chores. Extra email verification protects access to balances and contract documents.
Does Dignify collect rent?
No. Tenants pay the landlord outside Dignify and report their payment with proof. A report stays pending until an authorized person reviews it. A Payment Acknowledgement records an approved payment.
Can I import existing tenant records?
Yes. CSV imports include a preview and validation before saving. Review any errors and duplicates first. Importing records does not automatically send tenant announcements.
Who can see tenant information?
Tenant records and financial documents are private. Staff access is limited to the properties and actions assigned to them. Tenants use their personal links; they do not receive staff access. The Privacy Policy explains the information Dignify handles and how to request help.
